Product Overview
The DDS CAL3K Series is a range of oxygen bomb calorimeter systems designed and manufactured in South Africa for determining the calorific value (heat of combustion) of solid and liquid samples. The series includes five models — the CAL3K-S, CAL3K-ST, CAL3K-U, CAL3K-A and CAL3K-AP — offering throughput from 2.5 to over 10 samples per hour to suit laboratories of all sizes and budgets.
All CAL3K systems are completely dry (waterless), making them environmentally friendly and energy efficient with the smallest carbon footprint in their class. Applications include coal and coke analysis, food and feed calorimetry, fuel and oil testing, biomass energy research, waste product analysis, explosives characterisation and university teaching. The systems feature advanced digital controls, automatic cooling and comprehensive data management.
