About Digital Data Systems
Digital Data Systems (DDS) is a South African designer and manufacturer of the CAL2K and CAL3K range of oxygen bomb calorimeter systems. Established in 1972 by Klaus Ludwig, DDS has grown from a specialist in digital data capture to a global exporter of calorimetry instrumentation.
The CAL3K range includes five models offering throughput from 2.5 to over 10 samples per hour. All systems are completely dry (waterless), environmentally friendly and energy efficient. Applications include coal analysis, food and feed calorimetry, fuel testing, waste product analysis, cement manufacturing and university education.
