Product Overview
The Rocklabs Boyd Elite is the latest generation of the world-famous Boyd double-acting jaw crusher, designed for primary crushing of geological and mineral samples in mining laboratories. The Boyd Elite features a unique double-acting jaw mechanism that produces a more uniform crush product with less fines generation than conventional single-acting jaw crushers.
The Boyd Elite is used in mining exploration, production and commercial laboratories for reducing drill core, rock chips and bulk samples to a size suitable for further pulverisation and analysis. Its robust construction, easy-clean design, and available automated sand wash and air/vacuum cleaning systems minimise cross-contamination between samples. The Boyd Elite can operate as a standalone unit or be integrated into Rocklabs’ automated AMS sample preparation systems.
