Product Overview
The Evident (Olympus) CKX53 is a compact inverted microscope designed specifically for cell culture routine observation and documentation. The CKX53 features an integrated phase contrast slider, built-in LED illumination and a space-saving design that makes it ideal for use inside biosafety cabinets, on crowded benchtops and in cell culture facilities where multiple microscopes are needed.
The CKX53 is used in cell biology, IVF clinics, stem cell research, tissue engineering and general cell culture laboratories for daily checking of cell confluence, morphology and health. Its intuitive operation requires minimal training, making it accessible to all laboratory staff. Optional fluorescence capability adds GFP and RFP observation for transfection monitoring and fluorescent reporter assays.
