Product Overview
The Rigaku CT Lab HX is a high-energy laboratory X-ray computed tomography (CT) system designed for non-destructive 3D imaging of dense and large samples. The CT Lab HX uses a high-energy X-ray source (up to 225 kV) to penetrate materials such as metals, rocks, ceramics and composite structures that cannot be adequately imaged with lower-energy systems.
The CT Lab HX is used in geology, mining, materials science, aerospace, automotive and manufacturing for examining internal structures, defects, porosity, cracks and inclusions in 3D without physical sectioning. Its large sample stage accommodates objects up to several hundred millimetres in diameter, and its high-resolution detector provides detailed volumetric data for both qualitative inspection and quantitative analysis.
