The HORIBA Duetta is a unique spectrofluorometer that simultaneously acquires fluorescence and absorbance spectra, enabling fully corrected excitation-emission matrices (EEMs) and true molecular fingerprinting of samples. By combining both measurement modes in a single instrument, the Duetta eliminates the need for separate UV-Vis and fluorescence instruments and automatically corrects for inner-filter effects.

The Duetta is used in pharmaceutical development, materials characterisation, environmental water quality monitoring, food and beverage analysis, and academic research. Its ability to rapidly generate corrected 3D fluorescence landscapes makes it particularly powerful for the characterisation of complex mixtures, dissolved organic matter, quantum dots, fluorescent proteins and other luminescent materials.
