Product Overview
The TESCAN DYNATOM is a dynamic in-situ X-ray micro-CT system designed for real-time 3D imaging of processes occurring within materials under controlled conditions. The DYNATOM enables researchers to observe and quantify structural changes such as crack propagation, deformation, phase transformations and fluid flow in 3D as they happen, rather than only before and after.
The DYNATOM is used in materials science, mechanical engineering, geology, energy research and advanced manufacturing for in-situ studies under mechanical loading, heating, cooling and environmental exposure. Its fast acquisition speed and large sample chamber accommodate a range of in-situ stages, making it a powerful tool for understanding the dynamic behaviour of materials under realistic conditions.
