Product Overview
The Eralytics ERADENS X is a benchtop density meter built around a vertically aligned X-oscillating metal U-tube. It determines density, specific gravity and API gravity in full compliance with ASTM D4052 and ISO 12185, and additionally supports ASTM D5002, ASTM D5931 and ASTM D7777. Full-range viscosity correction means highly viscous samples are measured without a separate correction procedure.
Only 2 mL of sample is required and a result is available approximately 15 seconds after temperature equilibration. FillingProof® technology automatically detects and quantifies gas bubbles in the measuring cell, which is the single most common source of error in oscillating U-tube densitometry.
The measuring tube is manufactured from Hastelloy C276 and the housing from corrosion-resistant aluminium, with no moving parts. An integrated automated drying pump, a built-in ambient pressure sensor, an 8.4" colour touchscreen and Ethernet-based LIMS connectivity and remote service round out a densitometer that occupies 18.0 × 28.6 × 29.3 cm of bench space and weighs 7 kg.
