Product Overview
Scavini flash point testers include both manual and automatic instruments for determining the flash point of fuels, lubricants, engine coolants and other petroleum products using Pensky-Martens closed cup, Cleveland open cup and Abel closed cup methods. The range includes the only equipment on the market manufactured exactly as described in the IP 33 and ASTM D93 methods.
Flash point is a fundamental safety parameter used for the classification, labelling, transportation and storage of flammable liquids. Scavini flash point testers comply with ASTM D92, ASTM D93, IP 33, IP 34, IP 36, IP 170, ISO 2592 and ISO 2719 methods. The automatic models feature electric heating, gas ignition with electric pilot flames, automatic fire extinguisher and barometric temperature correction for fast, safe and precise determination.
