Product Overview
The Evident (Olympus) FV5000 is a next-generation confocal and multiphoton laser scanning microscope designed for quantitative, reproducible imaging of biological specimens. The FV5000 introduces SilVIR detector technology with true photon counting capability, delivering absolute quantitation in every pixel and eliminating the calibration variability inherent in traditional confocal detectors.
The FV5000 is used in cell biology, neuroscience, developmental biology, immunology and advanced life science research for confocal fluorescence imaging, multiphoton deep-tissue imaging, spectral imaging, FRET, FRAP, photoactivation and other advanced imaging techniques. Its TruSpectral design with individually configurable detection channels provides maximum flexibility for complex multi-colour experiments.
