IXplore IX85 SpinSR
Spinning Disk Confocal
- Super-resolution spinning disk confocal imaging
- High-speed acquisition for live cell dynamics
- 2× improvement in lateral resolution vs conventional confocal
- Low phototoxicity for long-term live imaging
- Based on IX85 motorised inverted platform
Product Overview
The Evident (Olympus) IXplore SpinSR is a super-resolution spinning disk confocal imaging system based on the IX85 inverted microscope platform. The SpinSR uses Evident’s proprietary super-resolution technology with a Yokogawa spinning disk confocal unit to achieve resolution beyond the conventional diffraction limit while maintaining the high speed and low phototoxicity that spinning disk confocal microscopy is known for.
The IXplore SpinSR is used in cell biology, neuroscience, developmental biology and structural biology for live cell super-resolution imaging, fast 3D confocal acquisition and long-duration time-lapse experiments where both resolution and cell viability are critical. Its ability to switch between standard confocal and super-resolution modes provides flexibility for diverse experimental requirements.
