Product Overview
The Rigaku NANOPIX mini is a compact small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) instrument designed for the characterisation of nanostructures, particle sizes and structural ordering in materials. The NANOPIX mini brings powerful SAXS capability to laboratories that previously could not accommodate dedicated synchrotron-quality scattering instrumentation.
SAXS is used in polymer science, materials research, pharmaceutical development, nanotechnology, food science and cosmetics for studying the size, shape and spatial arrangement of structures in the 1 to 100 nanometre range. The NANOPIX mini’s compact design, high-brilliance X-ray source and advanced 2D detector provide high-quality scattering data for nanoparticle sizing, polymer morphology studies, protein characterisation and thin film analysis.
