Product Overview
The Nu Instruments Sapphire is a collision/reaction cell multi-collector ICP-MS designed to overcome polyatomic interferences that can compromise isotope ratio accuracy. By incorporating a collision/reaction cell upstream of the multi-collector array, the Sapphire enables high-precision measurements of traditionally difficult isotope systems such as iron, calcium, silicon, chromium and potassium.
The Sapphire is used in geochemistry, cosmochemistry, environmental science and nuclear applications where interference-free isotope ratio data is essential. Its combination of collision cell technology with Nu’s proven multi-collector platform delivers accuracy and precision previously unattainable for many isotope systems.
