Product Overview
The Rigaku SmartLab is an advanced, fully automated multipurpose X-ray diffractometer (XRD) designed for the most demanding materials characterisation applications. The SmartLab features an innovative guidance system that automatically selects the optimal optical configuration for each measurement, eliminating the need for manual alignment and enabling even non-expert users to collect high-quality diffraction data.
The SmartLab is used in academic research, pharmaceutical development, materials science, nanotechnology and semiconductor fabrication for phase identification, crystal structure determination, thin film analysis, residual stress measurement, texture analysis, small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and pair distribution function (PDF) analysis. Its modular architecture supports a comprehensive range of optical components and sample stages.
