Product Overview
The Toni Technik ToniSET is an automatic setting time apparatus designed for determining the initial and final setting times of cement, mortar and other cementitious materials using the Vicat needle method. The ToniSET automates the penetration testing and timing sequence, providing precise, operator-independent setting time determination in accordance with EN 196-3, ASTM C191 and ISO 9597.
Setting time is a critical quality parameter for cement and concrete, directly affecting workability, placement scheduling and early strength development. The ToniSET’s automatic operation eliminates the need for continuous manual observation during the setting test, freeing laboratory staff for other tasks while ensuring accurate, standardised results that comply with international testing standards.
