Product Overview

The Katanax X-100 is a compact, single-position electric fusion fluxer designed for entry-level borate fusion sample preparation for XRF and ICP analysis. The X-100 automates each step of the fusion workflow — heating, mixing, pouring and cooling — to deliver consistent, reproducible glass beads or acid solutions from a wide range of inorganic materials.

The X-100 is ideal for laboratories with moderate sample throughput requirements that want to introduce fusion as a sample preparation technique for the first time. It processes sample types including soil, minerals, ores, cement, ceramics, glass, alloys and slag. Pre-loaded fusion methods and customisable programme capabilities provide ease of use for both novice and experienced operators. The X-100 features flux and chemical resistant heating elements for long operational life.
