The Katanax X-300 is a multi-position electric fusion fluxer available in one, two or three-position configurations, designed for laboratories requiring flexible and expandable sample preparation capacity. The X-300 automates the fusion workflow for producing homogeneous glass beads for XRF analysis and acid solutions for ICP analysis, with the ability to add positions as throughput requirements grow.

The X-300 features revolutionary heating elements that resist flux and chemical attack, active power monitoring for extraordinary temperature stability, and pre-loaded fusion methods that can be customised, saved and shared. It processes a wide range of sample types including minerals, ores, cement, ceramics and metals in accordance with established fusion methods. The X-300’s extra-precise Dynamic Temperature Profiling (DTP) ensures consistent results across all positions.
