Product Overview
Linkam temperature-controlled microscopy stages enable researchers to observe and analyse materials under precisely controlled temperature, humidity and mechanical conditions while viewing through an optical microscope or spectroscopic instrument. Linkam stages cover an extraordinary temperature range from -196°C to 1,500°C, accommodating virtually any thermal experiment.
Linkam stages are used in materials science, geology, polymer research, pharmaceuticals, food science, liquid crystals and life science for studying phase transitions, melting and crystallisation behaviour, thermal stability, glass transitions, mineral transformations and dynamic processes in real time under the microscope. Their compact design integrates with a wide range of microscope brands and spectroscopic techniques including Raman, FTIR and fluorescence spectroscopy.
