About Linkam
Linkam Scientific Instruments is a UK-based manufacturer of temperature-controlled microscopy stages and systems. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Redhill, Surrey, Linkam is the world leader in the design and manufacture of heating, cooling and freezing stages for optical microscopy and spectroscopy applications.
Linkam’s product range includes heating and freezing stages covering temperatures from -196°C to 1,500°C, humidity-controlled stages, tensile testing stages, vacuum stages and optical shearing systems. These accessories integrate with a wide range of microscopes and spectroscopic instruments, enabling researchers to observe and analyse materials under precisely controlled temperature, humidity and mechanical conditions.
